Die schönen Dinge .....

Neben den großen Beratungsaufträgen ist es mir immer wichtig, auch kleine Unternehmensgründungen zu begleiten.

Nun war es wieder so weit. Am 25.10.25 hat Maren Ihre Modeboutique „Modeflair by Maren“ in Achim eröffnet. Während der Gründungsphase habe ich Maren geholfen, Klarheit über ihr Geschäftsmodell zu finden, ein Unternehmenskonzept aufzubauen und am Ende auch den Businessplan zu erstellen. Sehr wichtig in diesem Prozess ist dabei, dem angehenden Unternehmer Hilfe und Sicherheit bei den Entscheidungen zu geben. Um so mehr freue ich mich nun für Maren, dass Sie alle Schritte gegangen ist und Ihre Boutique eröffnet hat.

Ein Webshop wird folgen und das Angebot sinnvoll ergänzen!

Requirements for a manager (leader) in the transformation process.

A transformation process manager must combine strategic thinking and excellent communication skills. Key requirements are leadership skills to guide employees through change and the ability to define and prioritize clear goals. Experience in change management is essential, as are strong problem-solving skills.

A high degree of empathy and persuasiveness is necessary to overcome resistance and create a shared understanding of the vision. Without comprehensible goals, teams lose orientation and motivation.

One major mistake is underestimating the corporate culture. If managers ignore existing values and behaviors, conflicts arise that hinder success. In addition, the importance of emotional aspects, such as employees' fears or worries, is often neglected.

In addition, the role requires strong project management skills to efficiently manage resources, timelines and risks. Many managers overestimate their resources and underestimate the time required. Unrealistic schedules lead to overwork and a loss of quality. Another common mistake is to approach change superficially instead of rethinking processes in a sustainable way. Ultimately, a transformation manager should also be a role model by practicing openness, adaptability and a positive attitude towards change.

Business restructuring - my thoughts

Business restructuring involves measures to realign and stabilise a company that is facing financial or operational challenges. The aim is to improve profitability and efficiency, often by cutting costs, streamlining processes and, in some cases, divesting non-strategic business units. Restructuring is an intensive and often critical phase that requires decisive and prudent management.

Managers in a restructuring must have the analytical strength and strategic skills to quickly identify weaknesses in the organisation and develop targeted measures. They have to make difficult decisions that potentially affect jobs and existing processes. Clear, transparent communication must be maintained in order to minimise uncertainty and anxiety within the team. Managers should also encourage a willingness to change, demonstrate a high degree of stress resistance and be able to resolve conflicts constructively. Restructuring is successful in the long term if managers involve employees in order to anchor the change in the long term and ensure the future viability of the company.

On Monday next week I start a new customer project. During the briefing I heard several times "it's not easy", "it's become difficult". So my mission will be not only to deliver the targets, much more my motivation is to support the people and help them for the common success. Let's go for it!!!!

Content is king ....
This week another nice topic with one of our consulting clients.
Customers buy products and services. For every company, this is the measure of successful sales work.

But is simply putting the product in the middle successful and sufficient?

I don't think so.

Focusing on the customer's needs and active content management open the door to target groups. Today, more than ever, buyers want to understand the added value and the "story behind". Empathy and interest in the customer are key elements. Customers want to be able to identify personally.
Strong product and brand branding successfully supports this process.

Frankfurt und die Frage nach den Weihnachtsmarkt ……

Am Freitag habe ich mich zu einem regulären Meeting in meiner Unternehmensberater Funktion als Senior Advisor mit Jochen Vogel Jochen Vogel von VM Value Management VM Value Management GmbH in unserem Frankfurter Büro getroffen. Es ging vollkommen unspektakulär um gemeinsame Projekte und Projektakquise. Ein normaler Beratungstag ….

Aber: Wenn man als „Karlsruher“ nach Frankfurt kommt, erlebt man offene Weihnachtsmärkte. Weihnachtsmärkte sind für mich eine der schönsten Institutionen und kultureller Treffpunkt in der Advents- und Weihnachtszeit.

Uns trennen ca. 120 km und trotzdem Welten.

Als gestandener Manager, Unternehmensberater und Investor bin ich es gewöhnt, Probleme und Fragestellungen aufzunehmen, nach Ihren Ursachen zu untersuchen und Maßnahmen/ Handlungen darauf aufbauend zu generieren. Mit dieser Logik erzeugen wir Veränderungen, überzeugen und nehmen die Menschen in unseren Projekten mit.

Ich bin kein Naturwissenschaftler, aber offensichtlich ist der Corona-Virus in Hessen ein anderer als in Baden-Württemberg. Denn dort sind die Weihnachtsmärkte wegen einem zu hohen Infektionsrisiko geschlossen.

Meine Sorgen und Gedanken sind bei den vielen Selbstständigen und Einzelhändlern in den Innenstädten, für die die Vorweihnachtszeit die Haupteinnahmequelle Ihrer unternehmerischen Tätigkeit sind und die auch in diesem Jahr vor dem „Nichts“ stehen.

Als absoluter Impfbefürworter hoffe ich, das politische Denkweisen in den Hintergrund gelangen, wissenschaftliche Logik und entschlossenes Handeln die Oberhand gewinnt, wir eine weitere Spaltung der Gesellschaft verhindern und gemeinsam diese außergewöhnliche Krise überwinden.Die neue Jahreszeit ist ein guter Grund, Vorsätze zu fassen – und diese auch einzuhalten. Ganz gleich, ob es darum geht, richtig zu essen oder die Garage aufzuräumen: Hier sind ein paar Tipps, wie Sie Vorsätze fassen und sie auch einhalten.
